Scanship Holding ASA has through its subsidiary company Scanship AS entered into two contracts with STX France in Saint Nazaire for the supply of its total clean ship system on the Meraviglia Plus class of ships.

These ships will be built for MSC Cruises, and are scheduled to enter service in 2019 and 2020. The contracts include the supply of systems for advanced wastewater purification, garbage handling with incineration, foodwaste processing and bio residue treatment with dewatering and drying.

"We are extremely proud to continue our cooperation with the shipyard STX France, where we have supplied equipment to 17 cruise newbuilds in the past, among these 10 newbuilds for MSC Cruises", says Scanship's CEO Henrik Badin in statement.

Scanship has accumulated a record high order intake of more than NOK 160 million so far in 2017, compared to a total order intake of approx. NOK90 million for full year 2016.
