P&O Cruises, the UK based contemporary market unit in the Carnival Corporation & plc, will only operate one world cruise in both 2018 and the following year and deploy the Aurora, which has performed the second such cruise of the line, on voyages to South America instead.

The remaining world cruise will depart in January of both years and run westbound via Panama and Suez. It will be operated by the Arcadia, which has done a world cruise each year for several years in a row.

Aurora will sail on a 65 night South America cruise on 3 January 2018 and a 55 night voyage to the same region a year later. After these, it will operate shorter cruises to Norway and the Caribbean.
