The keel of Queen Anne, which is scheduled to enter service with Cunard early in 2024, was laid at a ceremony at the Marghera shipyard of Fincantieri on 8 September.

The ship will have accommodation for 2,996 passengers and it will be the fourth ship in the fleet of Southampton, UK, based Cunard, which is part of Carnival Corporation & plc.

Cunard was founded in 1840 and Queen Anne will be the 249th vessel in its fleet since then. It will be the first ship to bear the name Queen Anne, who was Queen Regnant from 1702 to 1714
