STX Finland, the troubled Finnish shipbuilder in the South Korean STX Offshore & Shipbuilding group that also faces financial challenges, has sold its 66.4% stake in Aker Arctic Technology to the Finnish government. The sale is part of financial arrangements between the shipbuilder and the Finnish government, STX Finland said in a statement. It did not disclose the sale price. The company continues efforts to restructure its business, strengthen its order book and financial position, it added.
