Scanship Holding, the Norwegian water treatment equipment supplier, says the outlook in its business is bright after it had reported an improved first quarter interim result.

Groyp pre tax profit in the first quarter of this year amounted to NOK2.2 million compared to a loss of NOK0.2 million in the same period last year. Revenues increased slightly, to NOK38.8 million from NOK38.7 million.

Scanship has a positive view on the market outlook. Ship-owners are placing orders to build new ships, ship retrofits are being requested, and a larger sales team in Scanship is reaching out to new clients and new markets.
