Discover Egypt, the specialist tour operator in the All Leisure group plc in the UK, is to restart its 7-night Nile cruise programme on Monday after a three-month break due to unrest in the country, Travel Weekly said in a daily newsletter.
The Foreign and Commonwealth Office said on 22 November it was no longer advising against all but essential travel to Cairo Governate and Greater Cairo. The Cairo Governate includes the pyramids at Giza.
The operator is offering weekly departures from Heathrow each Monday and from Manchester every Tuesday, from 3 December, the report said. Discover Egypt operates the 72 cabin Royal Viking on the Nile.
