Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd., parent company of Norwegian Cruise Line, has announced the launch of a secondary public offering of 15 million of its ordinary shares by Star NCLC Holdings Ltd. and certain funds affiliated with Apollo Global Management, LLC, the two biggest shareholder in the company.

Star NCLC Holdings is a company in the Genting Hong Kong group, which owns Star Cruises in the Far East.

Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings went public on Nasdaq in New York at the turn of 2011-12 at an IPO in which its shares were valued at $21 each. They currently trade in the region of $33.
