FTI Cruises, the German niche operator, has renamed the 9,570 gross ton FTI Berlin back to Berlin, which was the original name of the vessel, when it entered service in 1980, the for Peter Deilmann Kreuzfahrten.

The company said in a newsletter emailed to cruise Business Online that the vessel has undergone a refit at the Chalkis shipyard in Greece, whereby the shower areas in cabins were upgraded, while the on board shop, hairdresser salon and gym also received a facelift.

The Berlin Lounge and the reception areas have also received new firnishings.
