Grandeur of the Seas, the 73,817 gross ton Vision class ship which was built in 1996, will leave the fleet of Royal Caribbean International (RCI) in the spring of 2021 and join Pullmantur Cruises, the Spanish cruise operator, RCI said in a message to Crown & Anchor club loyalty scheme members.
RCI is fully owned by Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd (RCCL), the world’s second largest cruise shipping company, which also has a 49% stake in Pullmantur Cruises. RCCL owns the ships that the Madrid based Pullmantur Cruises operates.
“Grandeur’s last sailing will be on March 26th, 2021, and we hope you get a chance to visit her before she joins Pullmantur. In her place, Enchantment of the Seas will sail from Baltimore, Maryland for the 2021 season, beginning in late April,” RCI said.
